This unit is in good working condition and comes with everything you will need to get started. This is an entry level unit but it will do a good job when using clean artwork and the proper procedures are used by the operator. This unit is a little loud and sounds like the Old School video games but that is normal because of the stepper motors it uses. The very quiet units on the market use Servo Motors which are much more expensive. WinPC Sign Basic is a good starting point for designing your artwork and the supplied Training DVD is helpful with learning how to use the software. The software runs best on XP, Windows 7, and Vista. This software IS NOT Mac Compatible!! You will need one free USB port for the dongle key to remain in place to run the software. You have the option of running the cutter with a USB or Serial cable and both of these cables are included. Please be sure you have the available ports. Included is an extra cutting strip and one each 45 and a 60 degree blade. Very important thing to consider: I do not do tech support but I will include a Start Up Manual with instructions on how to set up the cutter as well as assembly diagram for the stand. If all the instructions are followed carefully you should not have an issue with the cutter working properly. There is a learning curve to using a vinyl cutter as well as the software and understanding what works and what wont. If you are just getting into this type of work please be aware you will need some patients but once you get the hang of it you will become more creative and get good results.
